La Grange - Loubes Bernac, AQUITAINE

Lovely spacious  restored barn.  Sleeps up to 10 people.  Private swimming pool.  Fully equipped and furnished to a high standard.  Located in a sleepy, peaceful hamlet in Loubes Bernac.

The house dates back some 300 years and still retains a few original features such as the chais, the VATS, the cow stalls and a hayloft ladder.

Duras, Eymet and Saint Foye La Grande are all approximately 20 minutes drive away.  All 3 towns are very popular with tourists and all have excellent restaurants and markets selling fresh produce.

The well known Chateau de Vigiers is just a 5 minute drive from the house.  The Chateau is open to non residents for golf, spa treatments and excellent dining.

Bergerac is just a 40 minute drive away with regular flights to Stansted.  Well worth a visit, even if just for a boat ride down the Dordogne.

Bordeaux is 90 minutes away with regular flights to Gatwick.  Excellent shopping facilities and beaches.

The medieval town of Sarlat is just under 2 hours drive away and well worth a visit.
